There are two sides to every story

I personally love to read and watch the news, many people ask me why? Well, I like to know what is going in the community and the world.  Yes, I know alot of times it seems like there is never any good news and it can be sad and depressing to watch, none the less I choose to watch it.  It's sad today that the media has changed the way they report and I believe it can be misleading and bias.  For example, CNN tends to be a more democratic program whereas FOX news is republican.  Each of these stations reports on political issues but focus on the negatives of the opposite parties and the positives of the party the channel represents.  Frankly, I find this very annoying and I just want to punch the TV.  

Knowing that the media can be biased it is important that I use my judgment as to what the truth is.  I never believe a one-sided story especially after my own experience with the media.  There are always two sides to every story!!  I think some people take the media as the truth, and cant see that there are flaws in their reporting.  

I can understand why people choose not to read or watch the news due to the one-sided storylines but being informed is important to me so I will continue to watch and listen.
